 Artificial Intelligence & Robotic solutions for industry, schools and government.

 Expand sales of multiple security units to new and repeat customers.

 Employee share ownership plans to improve shareholder value.

 Project for the first school’s gun detection system, plus integration with existing security camera networks.

 Largest end user expands to 51 units with latest tracking orders.

AITX introduced RIO™, a solar-powered portable security solution. RIO is the company’s first product announced for a broader market sector, positioning RAD solutions outside of the traditional human security industry.

RIO (ROSA Independent Observatory) continues production of RAD’s best-selling and multi-award-winning security robot, known as ROSA. RIO consists of a single ROSA 3.1 unit mounted on a portable solar-powered trailer, with the option of adding a second ROSA unit.

The company ran a pre-order program for RIO through its reseller network and to select end users. This pre-order program will continue through mid-September and RAD expects to report pre-order activity in the coming weeks.

“RIO is probably our most exciting product announcement to date,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX and RAD. “Over the years, and at the cost of millions of dollars in R&D and engineering, RAD has developed a multitude of proprietary technologies. This RAD technology is now being directed to new markets, which until today have been content with legacy solutions from a multitude of vendors, who have assembled basic components, delivering mediocre performance and even lower returns on investment. . RIO is poised to be a game changer for big box retailers, construction sites, hospital campuses, entertainment venues and many other vertical markets,” added Reinharz.

RIO was designed with portability and round-the-clock performance in mind. At its base is a rugged portable trailer positioning the unit’s two solar panels and housing the device’s high-performance batteries and control systems. . RIO’s retractable mast extends almost 20′ where a single ROSA is mounted, providing a conveniently positioned 180° field of view. To achieve a 360° field of view, a ROSA-Expander unit is also available.

“The RAD dealer chain is excited about RIO,” said Mark Folmer, President of RAD. “RIO gives RAD dealers a lower cost, higher margin, higher volume solution to offer their customers. We’ve privately showcased RIO to our retailer network and garnered tremendous interest, and are actively booking pre-orders. We expect the response from the security industry to be even greater when we officially introduce RIO to GSX in two weeks. RAD will be exhibiting in booth #1650 at GSX in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center, September 12-14.

“If RIO captures only a modest market share of the existing and significant solar-powered security trailer business, it could quickly propel RAD’s monthly recurring revenue figures into another new orbit. RIO is the solution that can get us there,” concluded Reinharz.

RAD offers several RIO monitoring options, including monitoring services provided by RAD resellers, third-party remote monitoring service providers, as well as RAD’s proprietary RADSoC™ cloud application, with desktop and mobile. RIO, like all other RAD security robot solutions, is cellular optimized for robust, near-Wi-Fi quality connectivity, with cellular service included with the device’s subscription service.

 Customer of robotic assistance devices of AITX subsidiary adding ROAMEOs

On August 18, AITX announced that it expected to receive an order for two additional ROAMEO mobile security robots from one of the nation’s largest vehicle retailers. This direct customer had previously deployed a single ROAMEO as announced in January.

AITX’s two ROAMEOs will be deployed at two of the customer’s more than 200 sites in the United States. The customer also deployed three ROSA devices across multiple sites. ROSA has been well received for its autonomous ability to detect and deter trespassing and other property intrusions without the need for human guard assistance.

ROAMEO is a mobile security robot that stands nearly 7 feet tall and weighs over 700 pounds. ROAMEO is designed to autonomously patrol a property or periphery and monitor its surroundings, perform routine patrols, record and report to the central command center. The AITX Security Robot’s two 18.5-inch web-connected touchscreens provide customizable information and concierge services to guests it may encounter while on patrol.

 AITX Announces Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Award

On August 16, the AITX announced that employees of its subsidiaries were receiving stock awards that are expected to expire in 48 months. “We want to reward our team members with company stock to ensure their long-term goals are in line with our investors,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX. “We announced this plan last year and we are on schedule with these awards. We are excited to see how employee ownership can potentially help generate greater value for the company, our investors and our customers.

AITX receives a ROSA order of 3 units

On August 11, AITX announced an order for 3 ROSA security robots from one of its reseller partners.

These 3 ROSA AITX will be deployed to a new end user, a global software leader with more than 25 offices in the United States. RAD’s ROSA has been well received for its autonomous ability to detect and deter trespassing and other property intrusions without the need for human guard assistance. The 3 ROSAs will be deployed at one of the end user sites.

 AITX will deploy its first gun detection system in schools, as well as RADSoC integration with existing security camera networks

On August 10, AITX announced a Letter of Intent (LOI) with an East Coast parochial school to deploy 2 ROSA security robots with gun detection technology. Coinciding with this deployment, AITX announces the integration of its RADSoC™ with its comprehensive AI analytics suite with existing security camera networks. The school currently has approximately 120 security cameras, 50 of which will be connected to the RAD ecosystem.

RADSoC is a series of proprietary AITX on-premises/cloud hybrid applications that, until now, have been limited to AITX-only RAD devices. The announced plan to integrate RADSoC with existing IP camera networks potentially opens up the AITX addressable market to the several hundred million security cameras currently deployed in RAD’s target markets.

The AITX East Coast School’s dual ROSA deployment, along with integration with its existing network of security cameras, is scheduled to begin in September.
 Largest AITX end user expands to 51 units with 14 additional units

On August 8, AITX announced that it would receive an additional order for 14 additional units.

On June 16, 2022, the AITX issued a press release announcing the receipt of its largest order to date, which was for a total of 50 units. Thirty-seven of the 50 units were for a well-known manufacturer in the Midwest and were to be deployed at five of their sites.

After evaluating end user locations. with the authorized reseller, the portion of the order that was for 37 units grew to a total of 51, comprising 42 ROSAs, 5 RIOs and 4 AVA devices for this unique end user. The AITX reseller recommended to the end user that now is the time to deploy RAD’s cost-effective and proven solutions. Feedback from end users was “let’s not waste time refurbishing old technology, let’s go RAD!”
